A wise man once said “forgiveness is the a step forward towards happiness.” Forgiveness isn’t something that happens quickly. It’s a process in which the one who must be forgiven can prove themselves to you, that they deserve forgiveness. In the eyes of an oppressor, forgiveness cannot be so simply given for their mishaps.
Grasp the thought of being able to soar through the sky, to swim through every inch of the seemingly bottomless ocean, and to explore the beauty of the lands. Once you’ve grasped this thought, you’ll understand the beauty within a woman’s heart.
“Wouldn’t it be nice,
if life could be the way you want it to be, date someone perfect, live somewhere extravagant, be the happiest you could be.” Yeah, that would be nice. But, want to know what’s even better? The feeling of accomplishment. The feeling that you get when you work so hard for something, and to be awarded for your effort? I’d rather live life, working for what I want, rather than have it served to me. I wouldn’t want to be spoiled, I want to be taught the real meaning of having to work for something.
Time.
I’ve come to realize that even with time, the deepest of wounds doesn’t heal. What heals those wounds are the knowledge gained with time, in order to forgive. The knowledge to accept what has happened, and is soaked in by the mind and heart, transformed into experience to be used in the future.
Being profound is too hard nowadays, it’s easier to be funny.
